This is the perfect skin for the home iPad user. Stylish design and it provides excellent grip. The skin is mostly just to prevent scratches on the aluminum. It might protect the screen if it falls on it's face because there is a bit of a ridge around the face now. I love it. It looks great and it keeps the iPad an iPad.
